eTeaching Institute
at the World Forum: U.S. Perspectives
by Chip Donohue
Last week I shared information on the EC eTeaching Institute that
was held prior to the World Forum on Early Care and Education
in Montreal. I included information on four international distance learning
program showcases and links to learn more.
This week I want to feature the four United States distance learning programs
that were part of a panel presentation at the eTeaching Institute.
These four programs represent different sponsoring organizations, different
technologies and methodologies, and different audiences.
The four featured U.S. distance learning programs were:
- Early Childhood en español, University of Cincinnati,
Early Childhood Learning Community presented by Lisa Holstrom
- Pacific Oaks College Online presented by Judy Magee
- HeadsUp! Network, National Head Start Association, presented
by Kathy Ward-Cameron
- Eager-to-Learn, Minnesota Child Care Resource & Referral
Network presented by Cory Woosley
To view PowerPoint Presentations and Program Descriptions of these international
distance learning programs go to the eCommunity at www.ecelearn.com.
